I was doing my usual log sweep tonight and found some weird hits from what looked like a off site crawler. It kept ping poking my login api at random times when I wasnt even awake. Kinda makes me wonder if some bot or prankster is checking out my private messages. I aint cool with people poking around without sayin hello. Hope this quiet little corner of the net dont get turned into a free for all.

I’ve been checking the server logs and one sneaky address just wont quit trying to brute force the ssh gate. Every night around 3am i catch it hammering away like it thinks im sleeping. Might have to start banning entire ranges if this keeps up. Told my team iirc we’d leave the lights on but apparantly they prefer stealth mode. Feels like the internet used to be funny cat pics not nonstop digital pickpocketing.

Saw in the logs a ton of failed password attempts banging on our site nonstop till dawn couldent believe it. Luckily the honeypot lured em right in but honestly id rather they took their circus on down the road.

In the logs i saw some odd spikes from a remote host thats probly scanning ports on my servers all night. It looked like a mosquito buzzing round my network at 3am and would not stop. Im not kidding a script kid must be having a field day poking every admin page. Gonna shove em into the blocklist n hope they start tryin someone else
