Just noticed a ton of failed logins popping in the apache logs earlier today dont ask me why they chose midnight. They r firing off 401 after 401 from some far off ip space its gotta be a crawler or brute bot. I aint sure what their end game is but feels like they prob wanna crack the admin login. gonna tighten up the vhosts and toss their ranges in the deny list before they get any ideas.
