Been poking around the webserver logs this morning and found about a thousand weird requests hitting the login form from the same source. It looked like someone was brute forcing the admin account non stop with every common password under the sun. I shoved in a block rule as a quick patch but im betting theyll just bounce off to another port and try again. If youre seeing spikes in errors or slowdowns its probably related to this little scavenger hunt. Time to tighten the firewall rules and maybe rotate some creds before this script kiddie guesses admin123 one more time.
