I’m no network guru but last night i saw a weird flood of auth fails in the server logs. It looked like some bot was hammering my ssh service at random times. I cant make heads or tails out of that gibberish user names it tried, feels almost like someone playing with tor. My inner code monkey’s freaking out thinking they might find a backdoor. Gonna lock down the rules and maybe have a beer after.
