I just spotted a weird SSH handshake coming from some address i never listed in our firewall. They kept brute forcing the root account for like hours under different usernames. Then they tried to escalate to sudo but my logs crushed their invalid token errors. Feels like some script kiddie trynna leave their mark before getting blocked.
