Was digging in our firewall logs last night and found a series of connection attempts that gave me the creeps. The same node kept hammering away at ports you normally dont see open found myself rushing to close them off before things got worse. What really weirded me out was how persistent it was wildcarding addresses like it was on some personal vendetta. Has anyone else noticed their networks suddenly go crazy around 3 in the morning replies go unanswered but the scans just wont quit. Ill be honest I dread what might show up next time i check the dashboard.
